With 24 years experience in the Banking industry, Craig has the education, knowledge and experience that allow him to see the Big Picture, which is so important in todays constantly changing environment. With extensive experience in originating Conventional, FHA, VA, Bond, Special Niche Products and Sub-Prime loans; Craig has been able to help numerous people realize their dream of homeownership including many First Time Homebuyers. This experience combined with Executive Mortgage Groups access to such a large base of loan products from some of the largest banks in the country has enabled him to find the right loan product tailored to meet each borrowers unique needs. Craig not only has the formal education, but an unparalleled amount of experience in the banking industry that gives him a unique insight into the complicated world of banking. As a native of Kansas, he graduated from Butler County College with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and then from Wichita State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with his main emphasis in accounting, finance and economics. He entered the banking industry out of college in 1982 in the accounting department where he managed the accounting and reporting to the FSLIC on a bank acquisition. Later he was promoted to Treasurer of the bank, which included not only managing the accounting department but also managing the reporting to the Secondary Market for Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and Ginnie Mae mortgage loan pools. After 5 years he was promoted to Vice President where he was charged with the task of developing a new technology department designed to meet the rapidly changing needs of the bank. During this time he not only developed and managed the department but also managed three main frame computer conversions, three telecommunication conversions and more than 20 mortgage loan conversions and help serve as a beta test site for one of the first PC based Teller systems in the country as well as beta test site for one of the largest automated mortgage loan underwriting systems in the country known as Freddie Macs Loan Prospector, which is still in use today. During his tenure at the bank he served on numerous Senior Officer Committees such as Asset / Liability Management Committee and Technology Direction Committee. During this time the bank grew from $50 million dollars in assets to over $250 million dollars in assets and $1.6 billion in operations. After leaving the bank he developed and managed the Y2K Project for the largest state charted bank in Kansas. He joined The Executive Mortgage Group in 2001 and was promoted to Vice President. He currently is a member of the NAMB (National Association of Mortgage Brokers) and is a member of KAMB (Kansas Association of Mortgage Brokers). In 2005 he was elected to the Board of Directors of KAMB and served as Director of the South Central Chapter and in 2006 he was promoted to Secretary/Treasurer of the association.
